Contact & housing help
Find the right contact for a Bath property, university accommodation or council question, and read our publication contact arrangements.
For a property or tenancy enquiry, contact the landlord, agent or accommodation provider named in your own agreement or the original advertisement. Bath Renting Guide publishes information; it cannot book viewings, receive rent, arrange repairs or access a tenancy file.
Publication correspondence
Bath Renting Guide does not currently publish a direct correspondence email address or operate a contact form. No mailbox is presented as monitored, and this page does not collect messages. The links below take you to the organisations responsible for the relevant services; they do not send a message to this publication.
If a factual point needs checking, use the source linked beside it and the date shown on the guide. Our editorial policy explains the correction record and source-check approach. We do not promise a reply or a correction-submission service that is not available.
Contact a letting agent
Use the Bath letting-agent directory to reach an agent’s official branch or service page. Check the current contact details there before sending personal information or making a payment. Avoid relying on a copied phone number from an old advertisement.
University accommodation support
- University of Bath: the university’s private-sector accommodation guide links to its accommodation support and search routes.
- Bath Spa University: use its private accommodation information for the appropriate university service.
Your university can explain its own support and eligibility. A private tenancy, a room in a resident landlord’s home and university accommodation can involve different arrangements.
Council and tenancy questions
For a local council matter, use Bath & North East Somerset Council’s contact routes. The student Council Tax guide, HMO licensing guide and planning guide link to the relevant specialist information.
For a repair, begin with the responsible contact in your agreement and keep a dated record. Our repairs guide explains what to record and where to find further advice. If there is immediate danger, use the appropriate emergency service; do not wait for a website response.
Protect sensitive information
Do not put bank details, identity documents, tenancy documents or precise personal circumstances into a general website enquiry unless you have verified the recipient and the reason. The planning tools here need only the figures and notes you choose to enter; no upload is necessary.
